    i bought a remnant piece of carpet its not wall to wall and is about 3 inches short i live in an apartment so i dont want to glue it to the hardwood floor. How do i make it secure to stay stationary . everytime i move furniture it moves with it lol . i live by myself so this is a do it your selfer!!! PLEASE HELP!!!

    Not sure how you can make it stay permanently in place, especially if you are moving heavy furniture over it. They do make non-slip rubber rug mats which will help it stay pretty stationary during normal use (just people walking on it) and they also make rug tape but I have never had much luck with that myself and on a hardwood floor, I found that it leave a residue, but, you might give both a try.
